About Sylvia

Hello! I’m a semi-retired property manager with a deep love for travel, aviation, and soulful living. Nestled in the serene town of Elliot Lake, Northern Ontario, my home is a reflection of the life I’ve lived—full of stories, warmth, and a touch of adventure. I’ve spent years teaching aviation to Air Cadets and flying as a private pilot, with some of my favorite flights tracing the coastlines of Daytona Beach and the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona. I learned to sail on San Francisco Bay, discovered my passion for wine in Paris, and managed a recording studio in Kingston, Jamaica. I’ve also called Mexico home, and speak fluent Spanish (my French is a little rusty, but I still adore the language!). When I’m not reminiscing about the best fish tacos in Ensenada or the most peaceful cabanas in Tulum, you’ll find me listening to baroque music—especially Concierto de Aranjuez by Pepe Romero—or practicing Reiki, which I’ve studied as a Master. I share my space with Piper, my sweet 10-year-old Calico cat, who adds her own charm to the home.
