About Barbara

About Your Host Professional Background I am a local elementary school teacher and have been with School District 27 for over 20 years. Having lived and worked in the Williams Lake community for over two decades, I take pride in providing a reliable, quiet, and well-maintained environment for professionals who need a comfortable "home away from home" while on local contracts. Location & Commute The apartment is highly accessible for healthcare workers traveling to Cariboo Memorial Hospital. It is located directly on a local bus route and is less than a ten-minute drive or taxi ride from the hospital doors, making for a quick and stress-free commute before or after a shift. Local taxi services are also readily available in the area. About the Space & Local Area I understand the demanding schedule of medical staff and highly value your need for a private, restful space to recharge. When I am not teaching, I enjoy standard local outdoor activities like hiking, biking, kayaking, skiing, and photography. I am happy to completely respect your privacy or offer practical local tips on getting around Williams Lake, nearby amenities, and regional trails if you choose to explore.
